Casting X - A casting method using digital technology for large and small rod castings - For large and small rod castings, contact Tomo Steel Industry!!

FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and then produces the product by replacing the foam model with molten metal in a sand mold. This process makes it difficult for burrs to form and allows for the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method.

Casting X - FMC Casting Method Utilizing Digital Technology - For large and small rod castings and cost reduction, contact Tomo Iron Works!!

FMC casting creates foam models that are identical in shape to the products using expanded polystyrene, and produces the products by embedding these foam models in sand molds and replacing them with molten metal. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and enables the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to wooden pattern methods. Cost reduction is also achievable with original (alternative steel) materials. Focusing on castings for automotive parts press molds and various industrial machinery, we design and manufacture full mold models ranging from 50 kg to 15 tons, and carry out integrated production from casting to machining with low-impurity melting using high-frequency induction furnaces.

Press die, hemming die, alternative material for steel, TFG450.

Casting X - A casting method using digital technology for large and small rod castings, for cost reduction, contact Tomo Steel Industry!!

TFG450 (Steel Substitute Material) - Achieves hardness of HRc 53 or higher through frame hardening - Compatible with cutting tool materials up to 590 MPa class at a lower cost than FCD - Good chromium plating properties - Established surface hardening treatment technology for ultra-high tensile applications FMC casting creates foam models in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and produces the product by embedding the foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and allows for the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Casting X - A casting method using digital technology for large and small rod castings, for cost reduction, contact Tomotetsu Industry!!

FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and produces the product by embedding the foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and enables the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also possible with original (steel substitute) materials. FMC (Full Mold) Casting Full mold casting involves creating a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, and producing the product by embedding the foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. - Quality 1. Compared to wooden patterns, there are no burrs, and high-precision casting is possible. 2. It is possible to create complex and high-precision products. - Cost 1. Even for complex shapes, modeling with 3D CAD results in fewer processes and high cost benefits. 2. It is possible to manufacture foam models by combining processed expanded polystyrene into multiple parts, even for complex shapes. 3. Compared to traditional wooden patterns, it is very advantageous in terms of production time and cost. 4. There is no need for wooden pattern storage, and maintenance due to deterioration is also unnecessary.
